Great Turtle Talks 2019

Conceived by the Haudenosaunee Faithkeeper, Oren Lyons, this event took place on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 at the Hotel Santa Fe. The conversation between respected Indigenous voices revolved around the topic of “value change for survival”.  Over the course of two hours, each panelist shared their perspectives on the state of the world today while proposing ways to remain proactive in the face of an “environmental crisis”.  Please see the video recording of the entire conversation with follow up questions from the audience below. If you are interested in hosting a Great Turtle Talk for your own community members as a fundraiser for Wings, please reach out to Dustin Martin at: dustin@wingsofamerica.org
