2022 Big Tesuque Trail Run

The annual “Big Tesuque Trail Run” is ON- in-person! Join The Santa Fe Striders on what promises to be a crisp early-fall morning, Saturday, October 1st. In its 38th year, this Santa Fe classic starts at Aspen Vista parking lot on Hyde Park Road (NM-475) in Santa Fe, NM. The route climbs six miles and 2000 feet to the summit of Tesuque Peak in the Santa Fe National Forest and then returns to Aspen Vista, for a round-trip total of 12 miles.

As it has for over a decade, proceeds from race registration will support Wings programs and create opportunities for Native youth to embrace running as a lifestyle. You can register HERE at runsignup. You can also visit the official race website HERE

Race categories for awards will be the same (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, >70) for both women and men and they’ll have first overall awards for female and male. There are also typically some raffle prizes, so be sure to stick around for awards!

As always, the race starts and ends at the Aspen Vista Trail at the gate.  The top is the same t-post participants have run around for the past 10+ years.  Organizers ask you to stay safe, wear gloves if you intend to fall, and mostly, enjoy the run!

Email race director, Don Brown (donbo2@gmail.com), if you have any questions.
