- The Striders will again offer a beginners running class starting Thursday April 15th. The cost will be $100 for 6 weeks of classes, a membership in the Striders and an entry into the graduation 5K race at the Run Around on May 18th. - Track will start on Tuesday, March 12th at the Santa Fe High track. The regular group will start at 6PM. You should arrive earlier to warm up. We will again have an “Early Group” that will start ~5:50 p.m. This group is designed for slower runners including those that want to walk some. It will do the same workout as the regular group but just take longer to do it. All 2013 Strider members will have a choice of a free reflective Strider cap or a free Strider visor. First handouts will be at the March 12th track workout!!!

- The Santa Fe Striders club puts on 6 running events during the year. The Run Around is the one that we promote as a family event with emphasis on kids. This is also the graduation race for the spring class of Girls on the Run who is also the beneficiary of the race. In order to entice more kids into the race this year, the entry fee for 19 and under in the 5k or 10k race will be just $5. The race cost us ~$7000. We like to get as many sponsors as we can to help defray the cost and still leave enough to make a sizable donation to Girls on the Run. Strider members and sponsors will also be able to have a non money making, non-political table at the race. If you are interested or know of anyone that may be interested, please review the attached documents.
