The American Indian Running Coaches' Clinic
Wings and Nike, Inc., co-sponsor the American Indian Running Clinic for coaches and community people who are working with American Indian youth. Presenters are all experts in their respected worlds of running: i.e., prominent coaches, sports physicians, running club directors, athletes and Olympians. These individuals share their lifetime stories, which include personal achievements and experiences. This program underscores mentoring and the importance of sharing knowledge at a professional level with participants. The learned materials are then shared with their younger athletes and other community programs.
The 12th Wings of America Coaches' Clinic was held June 9-11, 2010.
