Join Wings of America for a day of activities designed to remind aspiring runners that next season is around the corner. Interactive demonstrations will teach participants strategies and exercises for maintaining a balanced training regiment year-round. Though young athletes must understand the importance of “getting in the miles”, they must also make time for rest, recovery and strengthening.
8:30am- Meet for morning run/Introductions (Moenkopi Legacy Inn lobby)
8:30-9:00am- Group stretch & warm-up.
9:00-9:45am- Group run
9:45-10:15am- Dynamic warm-up instruction/review
10:30-11:15am- Abdominal/Core instruction & group workout
11:15-12:00am- Wings Running & Fitness Camp Game 1
12:00-12:45pm- LUNCH (provided by Wings)
12:45-1:30pm- Foam roller/stretching rope intstruction/demonstration
1:30-2:15pm- Wings Running & Fitness Camp Game 2
2:15-3:00pm- Review/ Q&A
3:00pm- “Run to the East” (documentary showing) TRAILER
